The intellectual property community was saddened by the loss of Q. Todd Dickinson, the former Undersecretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Todd will be remembered for this tireless efforts to advance intellectual property in the United States.

The tributes to Todd are as numerous as they are heartfelt, including tributes from the USPTO, The National Law Journal, as well as a collection of remembrances at IPWatchdog.
The BPLA takes this opportunity to celebrate his life, mourn his passing, and thank him for all that he did.
